Thailand - The Land of Smiles - March 2014
Thailand is known as the "Land of Smiles". The generosity of spirit that is endemic in the Thai population including the caddies who looked after us on the golf course is amazing. The golf courses provide terrific variety and their condition, would rival most in the world.
It obviously suited Bill Eccles (Hcp 17) Mackay G.C. who played stunning golf over the 6 rounds we played, including an 8 over par at the Banyan Golf Club in Hua Hin. Bill won by 13 shots from his fellow Mackay member David Hinder
