Peter Tanner defends NZ South Island Title - Feb 2014
Consistent golf over the first three rounds saw Peter Tanner (Pelican Waters - Hcp 12) take an unasailable lead and go on to defend his title as the NZ South Island champion for tour 1. Alan Balderston (The Lakes - Hcp 19) came home strongly to be runner-up and finish just 2 shots behind Peter.
Lynette Smart (Wollongong - Hcp 25) blitzed the field by shooting 38 points on the final day at Jacks Point. Lynette cleared out to win by 8 shots from a previous NZ South Island two time winner, Jan Doyle (Concord - Hcp 26)
