Thailand - March 2013

Not very many of our senior players are off low handicaps - but it seemed to help those that played Thailand recently.....

Phil Constable off a 6 handicap from Northern Golf Club in Victoria, was too good in the mens division with very consistent rounds at some of Thailand's best golf courses.

Suwan, Navatanee, Royal Gems, Thailand Country Club, Sea Pine, Springfield, Banyan and Black Mountain all had their respective challenges. The ladies division was also won by the lowest marker - Joyce WIlliamson off 12 from Concord. Again Joyce was extremely consistent and struck the ball beautifully over the 8 rounds played.

Undoubtedly though, the highlight came from Bob Wade (Hcp 3) from Gungahlin Lakes in Canberra, where he aced the 148 yard Par 3 - 7th Hole at Royal Gems Golf & Sports Club.
Bob has been sent a Citizen Gold Watch as a memento of his career 2nd Hole in One.
