Queenstown - Tour 1, New Zealand - Feb 2013
Wonderful weather for the week greeted those on the first tour in what can only be described as idyllic conditions.
Peter Tanner (11) from Pelican Waters in Queensland raced away to win by an amazing 19 shots with such consistent golf over Queenstown, Millbrook, Jacks Point and The Hills golf courses.
Garry Wackett (13) from Camden Golf Club got up to run second on a countback from Ray Klavins (19) The Grange S.A.
The Ladies section was very close and any number of 4 players could have taken out the top prize going in to the final round at Jacks Point. Jan Doyle (31) from Concord Golf Club carded an amazing 42 points to get up and beat Julie Short (22) from McCracken Golf Club S.A. by one shot. Julie also played extremely well on the last day with a very respectable 37 points.
