Queenstown - Tour 2, New Zealand - Feb 2013

The second tour completed an amazing two weeks in beautiful Queenstown, without any precipitation. Beautiful golfing weather welcomed us every day.

A variety of courses presented a challenge for our second tour held at Queenstown in New Zealand. Queenstown, Millbrook, Arrowtown, Cromwell and Jacks Point were great venues presented in excellent condition, however playing courses the first time around is not easy.

Gavin Laws (Hcp 11) from Pymble Golf Club scored an easy 7 shot victory from Alan Balderston (Hcp 17) after playing terrific golf over the 5 rounds.

The Ladies Section was also easily won by 7 shots by Nette South (Hcp 23) Roseville Golf Club after she held off the strong finishing Jan Doyle (Hcp 29) Concord Golf Club, who was the winner of the Queenstown No.1 Tour. Nette had to adjust her swing due to a serious arm injury - it obviously has worked !
