HAWAIIAN ISLANDS - Makes it Three in a Row !

Yvonne Murray from Blackheath G.C won her first ever golf tour with the AVGA after trying for many years at the various venues around Australia and overseas. Her consistent play over the 10 rounds of golf in the Hawaiian Islands saw her hold off Anne Beaumont from Pymble G.C. by 4 shots. Fine weather and extra fine golf courses were played on by a group of Australian Senior Golfers.

Meanwhile, it was "just a walk in the park" for Peter Tanner who cleared out to win by 13 shots from Peter Beaumont (Killara G.C.) making it his 3rd tournament win in a row. No other player in the history of the AVGA has won 3 consecutive tours in a row. Peter won Thailand, Kunming and now Hawaii. A marvellous feat and a strong showing of consistent golf.
